visitors are towards the beginning of the slide show!
Paetyn's aunt visited our room to tell us what it was like to be one of the Vice Presidents of Home Depot and tell us about her life living in Georgia. We thought it was so cool that her backyard was a battle ground during the Civil War. Thanks Kecia for taking the time to visit us! Mrs. Mears, our school reading teacher was our mystery reader. She read a Mem Fox book, called Wilfrid Gordon Mc Donald. We all enjoyed her visit and she told us some things about herself that we didn't know. We didn't know she had 4 dogs, and her favorite sport to watch was softball.
This is Ruth and her dad and step mom. They brought in Ruth's pet, Fluffy. Fluffy is a white hamster.
My Anderson read Old Author, a book he got when he was 10 years old while his family was vacationing Williamsburg Virginia.
Mrs.Loyd, our school nurse was our mystery reader. She read a Dr. Seuss Book called, Oh The Things I Can Do For YOU! It told us different ways we can stay healthy so we don't miss any school.
Our mystery visitor this week, Riley's dad, Tom told us about how he buys parts for the new bull dozer that his company is making. Mrs. Williams was our mystery reader on December 21 as she read her very favorite Christmas story. We all enjoyed her reading! This is Drake's mom. She read Axle Annie to us.
Mrs. Olson's friend, Lucy Hummell from Mt. Pleasant came in and read Snowflake Bently to our class. She surprised us with some Hershey Kisses and a juice box. She talked about how Snowflake Bently was unique and wanted us to celebrate how we are very unique people. She was a lot of fun and we hope she comes back to read to us again! Mr. Palmatier, our principal, was our mystery reader! We can’t wait to hear what Maniac Magee is going to do next.
